Trying for Hedda, by Harris Singer, is a queer experimental one-act play that dismantles, deconstructs, and examines the source material of Ibsen's Hedda Gabler. Over the course of 45 minutes, Hedda, Tesmin, Man, Woman, and our Playwright, try to understand what it means to be both in a play and loved by a character within a play, too.

The Fanfiction, Fandom, and Forbidden Love Festival, or Romance Festival, for short, is a multi-month, multi-venue festival spanning theatrical readings, live podcasts, workshops, fanfiction salons, and even fully produced Off-Broadway plays that all investigate the female-centered, sapphic, hidden perspectives of desire in media. This culminated in an international production of Cringe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a gay romp through space-time that rehashes the very birth of fanfiction as we know it.

GIDION'S KNOT (Director)

A gripping one-act by Johnna Adams, Gidion's Knot follows the course of a real-timeparent/teacher conference. A grieving mother and an emotionally overwhelmed primary school teacher have a fraught conversation about the tragic suicide of the mother's son, Gidion. Gidion may have been bullied severely-or he may have been an abuser. As his story is slowly uncovered, the women try to reconstruct a satisfying explanation for Gidion's act and come to terms with excruciating feelings of culpability.
